Lo chiamano il diavolo cornuto per via del suo aspetto, ma questo bruco di cattivo ha davvero poco: le su estremità sono infatti prive di veleno e servono per lo più a scoraggiare preventivamente i predatori. L’unica cosa davvero impressionante sono le sue dimensioni, ma consolatevi pensando che un giorno diverrà una bellissima Citheronia Regalis, una grande falena dalla bellissima colorazione rosso-arancio.
